The Years Still Unexplored

The problems of retirement are dealt with in this, the third of a series of pamphlets produced by the Pre-Retirement Association. The authors, who are both in the early stages of retirement, stress that future events must be prepared for and suggest that a willingness to discuss dying itself, until it becomes a familiar idea, may be one of the contributions that age alone is philosophical enough to make. Because of its treatment of the preparation for retirement at so deep a level, this pamphlet should bring new ideas to many who view this event with foreboding. Its one limitation is that the authors have men readers mainly in mind, but women capable of digging below the surface should find that it applies equally to their own problems.
